Worth A Try is fun song i wrote about a staring competition ha. Me and this girl were eye-ing each other from across the room. And it was so awkward but we both knew we were checking each other out. So of course I had to act upon it and we talked for a little while. Ended up not being to serious though. Also this song is about taking a chance on falling in love even though it's such a big risk. The majority of the EP talks about recovering or going through a break up. But this song is basically saying to myself and to others that it's okay to at least try the love thing.

Side note: Dave Douglas, the producer on this record, used to play drums for the band Relient K and was my idol for the longest time. And this song was the first song we started tracking. And when i started tracking drums and when he was digging it. I counted it as a milestone in my life.
